There are 28 community vegetable planters in Charlottetown parks for the public to enjoy and share! The vegetable planters are an initiative of the Parks and Recreation and Environment and Sustainability Department, initiated in 2011.
Staff plant and tend to the planters and the harvest is for all on a first come, first served basis. Follow the City of Charlottetown on social media or read signs in the planters to get notices on what's ready to harvest.
