2026-2027 Capital Budget

Charlottetown City Council approved the 2026-2027 Capital Budget on March 31, 2026. The City’s approved capital budget for the City Corporation and Water and Sewer Utility is $97.3 million, including $32.8 million in partner funding.

The approved capital budget will help the city continue to plan for the future by investing in core services including fire, public transit, road infrastructure, community recreational amenities, and technological modernization. 

2026-2027 Operating Budget

Charlottetown City Council approved the 2026-2027 Operating Budget on March 31, 2026. The City’s approved operating budget for the City Corporation and Water and Sewer Utility is $118.3 million.

The approved operating budget supports programs, services, and operation of existing infrastructure across the municipality.
