The City of Charlottetown is pleased to announce that the outdoor pool at Simmons Sports Centre has received official competition certification approval from Swimming Canada.
Following repairs completed earlier this fall, the pool was resurveyed and confirmed to meet the organization’s competition requirements. Swimming Canada officially approved the facility’s certification on Nov. 3, 2026.
The approval allows the Simmons pool to host sanctioned swimming competitions in Charlottetown.
The City looks forward to welcoming future competitive swimming events to the community.
