The City of Charlottetown and BGC Charlottetown are excited to give updates on the upcoming Trucks for Kids Fundraiser for BGC Charlottetown (formally known as Touch a Truck Fundraiser for BGC Charlottetown).
This highly anticipated event will offer a unique opportunity for children and families to explore over 40 large vehicles and equipment up close including emergency vehicles, farm and construction equipment and more. All money raised will go towards supporting local youth at the BGC Charlottetown.
Date: Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024 (Rain date: Sunday, Oct. 6.)
Location: Charlottetown Event Grounds, 360 Grafton St., Charlottetown
Time: 2 – 5 p.m.
Admission Fee: Voluntary donation (suggested amount: $5)
Parking: Free parking will be available at the CADC parking lot across the street from the event grounds
In addition to the impressive lineup of vehicles, the event will include a BBQ sponsored by the Parkdale Sherwood Lions Club with milk provided by ADL, live music, an inflatable obstacle course, slides and a bouncy house. A water refill station will be on site and attendees are encouraged to bring their own reusable water bottles.
