Traffic Impacts Due to Film Production

The City of Charlottetown is advising the public that a film production will begin shooting in various locations around the city this week.
Residents will see increased activity in several Charlottetown locations on select dates from April 30 until May 23. The public should expect the following traffic impacts that will help accommodate a safe work environment for the public and the film crew:
Wednesday, April 30
Location: Hensley Street
Details: Street closure from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Local traffic access only.
Location: Dorchester Street, between Cumberland and Prince Streets
Details: Intermittent street closure from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Local traffic access only.
Monday, May 5
Location: Upper Hillsborough Street, between Hillcrest Avenue and Euston Street
Details: Intermittent street closure from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Local traffic access only.
Wednesday, May 7
Location: Clarke Street
Details: Intermittent street closure from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. Local traffic access only.
Monday, May 12
Location: Clarke Street
Details: Intermittent street closure from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Local traffic access only.
Thursday, May 15
Location: Clarke Street
Details: Intermittent street closure from 11 a.m. on May 15 to 1 a.m. on May 16. Local traffic access only.
Wednesday, May 21
Location: All Souls Lane/Fitzroy Street/Rochford Street
Details: All Souls Lane will be closed from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. with local traffic access only. Stop and go traffic on Rochford Street between Fitzroy and Kent Streets from approximately 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Location: Upper Hillsborough Street, between Hillcrest Avenue and Euston Street
Details: Street closure from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Local traffic access only.
Location: Fitzroy Street, between Pownal Street and Terry Fox Drive.
Details: Intermittent street closure from 9 p.m. on May 21 to 12 a.m. on May 22.
The film, The Snake, is being produced by Regretti Spaghetti Productions Inc. The production company is working with the City of Charlottetown and Charlottetown Police Services to minimize disruptions during filming.
