The City of Charlottetown reminds residents and businesses that the
Snow Removal Bylaw is in effect.
Under the bylaw, piling or depositing snow or ice onto City streets, sidewalks, or parking areas is not permitted, including snow removed by private contractors. These actions can interfere with traffic flow and public safety and may result in enforcement measures ranging from daily fines to removal of the snow at the property owner’s expense.
