The City of Charlottetown is seeking volunteers to serve on several advisory boards. The city strives to create a diverse and inclusive environment and aims for these advisory boards to represent the communities they serve, capitalizing on the strengths and talents of those communities.

The following advisory boards are accepting applications:
· Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (three vacancies)
· Civic Board for Persons with Disabilities (one vacancy)
· Planning Board (one vacancy)
· Youth Engagement Committee (three vacancies)

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and reside within the City of Charlottetown. The City will also consider individuals who work in the city and have expertise specifically required for a committee to meet its mandate.

Applicants are encouraged to review the City’s Public Appointment Policy and apply online at charlottetown.ca/boards or submit a resume to [email protected]. To apply in person, hard copy applications can be picked up at City Hall reception at 199 Queen Street; the completed application form must be accompanied by a resume. A hard copy of the Public Appointment Policy is available at the front desk at City Hall or online at charlottetown.ca/policies under “Administration.”

All applications must be received by 12 noon Thursday, April 24, 2025. Only those applicants selected to sit on a board will be contacted.
