Parking violations may result in a ticket or towing at the vehicle owner’s expense.
For Canada Day, July 1, the Victoria Park Pool and Splash Pad will be open from
10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the Kiwanis Dairy Bar will operate from
10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Motorists are reminded to please use extra caution, as an increase in cyclists and pedestrians throughout the city should be expected.
Canada Day attendees are encouraged to use active transportation or transit when travelling to and from the events at Victoria Park. Transit services will be operating on an adjusted schedule for Canada Day; please visit
T3 Transit’s website to view the full schedule and route map.
New this year! Free evening shuttles will be running to help residents and visitors access the celebrations:
• Two free shuttle routes will operate between
7 p.m. and 11 p.m., running every 20 minutes with limited stops to and from Victoria Park.
• Shuttles will run on a loop to and from Victoria Park until approximately
9:50 p.m., then depart the park after the
10 p.m. fireworks display.
• Stops are located near public parking lots and in residential neighbourhoods, encouraging people to walk or drive to their closest stop rather than drive directly to the park.
• Special Canada Day shuttle signs will be posted at each stop for easy identification.
• View the full list of shuttle stops and parking options using the interactive map:

The Queen’s Wharf parking lot will be open and Peakes Quay lot will be automated and charge per hour. Bike Friendly Communities PEI will also be on-site at Victoria Park operating a free bike valet, accepting all forms of wheeled transportation including bicycles, strollers, scooters, and skateboards.
All Capital City Canada Day activities are weather dependent. Any cancellations or updates due to weather will be shared on the City’s social media platforms, including Facebook

Residents who may be sensitive to sound, including those with young children and pets, are reminded that a 21-Gun Salute will take place at the Prince Edward Battery (Victoria Park cannons) at
