Calling all art lovers and nature enthusiasts! The City of Charlottetown is excited to invite the public to Victoria Park on
Sunday, Oct. 20, from 1-3 p.m. to participate in Rooted in Art: Art Walk & Talk.
This special event offers a guided tour of art installations created by seven talented local artists. Participants will hear directly from the artists about their creative processes and the inspiration behind their works. In addition, members of the City’s Urban Forestry team will be present to share fun facts and insights about Charlottetown’s tree canopy.
The event will begin at the Victoria Park Ball Clubhouse, where attendees can enjoy hot apple cider, hot chocolate and snacks before exploring the park’s living art gallery. This is more than just a fall walk in the park – it’s a journey through art, stories and the beauty of Charlottetown’s urban forest.
The 2024 Rooted in Art exhibit features artists Marina Simon, Tatiana Mizerina, Brenda Whiteway, Ashley Anne Clark, Christina Patterson, Sarah Nicole Dart and Katherine Strongman. The exhibit runs until Oct. 20
