The City of Charlottetown Parks and Recreation Department advises residents that five newly constructed tennis courts at Victoria Park will open to the public on Monday, Aug. 18.
Construction and surface painting was completed on Aug. 11 and require seven days to complete the drying process. Landscaping will be completed later this summer or early fall when weather conditions improve. The newly constructed courts are expected to last up to 15 years without any major repairs outside of regular maintenance.
The Victoria Park Tennis Courts are open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. until the end of October, weather permitting. Courts can be booked
online, and booking in advance is recommended.
